This particular painting was commissioned by a client, who intended to present it to his wife on their Wedding Anniversary. Seeking a bespoke piece for their home, the client provided one of their cherished photographs.
I explored various ideas, envisioning the intimate moment between the couple on their favourite beach. The silhouette effect introduced a touch of romantic mystery, whilst the change from a cool, light blue background to a vibrant, bold sunset, became the undeniable wow factor. The striking contrast in colours elevates the beauty of this piece.
You can imagine the couple standing hand in hand, feeling the cool sea breeze, the warm sand beneath their feet, and the enchanting sunset casting it's golden glow over the deep, peaceful ocean.
